Week Four
A week has passed and I’m up three pounds, but the fourth week is upon me and I still feel enthused. My goal is to finish out the week closer to where I want to be, which is in the 260’s.
Last Friday I visited a close friend for a weekend of eating, drinking and relaxing. It was a good time. My weight gain shows, but I have settled back into my dieting mode, so that along with this intense weight lifting should bring my weight down.
It really is amazing how fast I can gain weight if I start ingesting carbs.
Third Week, Great Start so Far
Today’s weight: 274
I start the month down in weight, the third week into my 12 week workout plan. I am totally excited, but nervous because I begin and end plans without any real completion whatsoever. This started out as a plan to lift weights, then it moved to split routines, next it moved to a 12 week plan including cutting out most cardio, then finally I got back on a low carb plan. Now that I’ve done that, I MUST complete this twelve week plan. That’s where I am now.
I feel strong, motivated, but I must remain living in the present, not the past, in the now. What is done in the past is history, so all my failures do not matter. The future is not here, so focusing on that really is not good. I need to do stay in the present.
Exercise equals discipline equals a well balanced human being. Thank you Cesar Millan!

It’s been a thirteen pound drop in weight since February 9th, when I decided to get serious about low carbing. I find that the weightlifting breaks my muscles down so that I’m expending a lot of energy rebuilding. This is just a start amongst many, so caution is high.

Bloody good job, I must say, but this is ridiculous to get excited about because I have only begun (once again) to make progress. I”ll leave it at that. Today marks my second week of split routines.

I didn’t exercise yesterday, and I won’t be exercising today, the rest has done me good. I am excited about entering in to week 2 of my weightlifting routine. I am feeling pumped up about these split routines, and I expect great progress over the next weeks, BUT I MUST CONTINUE!!! The New York steak I ate last night was to die for.

Today’s a rest day, no weight lifting or cardio until Tuesday. Dropped to 279 lbs. It’s easy to be motivated for two days, it’s the long haul that counts.
Back for What?
I’m back, for more personal torture. That’s all I can say right now. Yesterday I decided to keep track of my efforts at this never ending depressing saga of losing weight.

Today’s weight is 282. I started off the year at 280. Good news is that I have begun my twelve week weightlifting progam. We’ll see where it takes me.
