Thursday – Tired
- BP – 136/89
- Resting Pulse Rate 57
Blood Pressure is a bit high because I forgot to call in my medication, must do that today. Lifted weights yesterday and then walked a good hour at at a quick pace, so I was quite tired when I got home. Didn’t sleep well, so will rest today, just walk, and hopefully have a great jog in the morning. I’ve got to remember the steps in order to regain my sanity. They are:
- Exercise
- Discipline
- Affection
Thank you Cesar, for spelling it out so succinctly.
Maintaining at 272 lbs
I feel bloated. My estrogen count must be high. I’m all waterlogged and puffy. I’m giving blood today. It makes for a great day for eating. No exercise today.
- Weight – 272 lbs.
- BP – 142/89
- Resting Pulse Rate – 60
- Mood – Sour
Broke Toilet Seat
- BP – 142/91
- Resting Pulse Rate – 54
- Weight – 272 lbs
Gads, all this working out and I am gaining weight. I officially broke the toilet seat today; snapped it in two. I feel like I’ve joined some sort of a special club.
Day 12 – Must Remain Focused
- Weight 269 lbs
- Blood Pressure 129/87
- Resting Pulse Rate 52
It’s time for me to remain steadfast and focused because mentally I feel great. The weight will eventually drop; I will wait out this plateau and see where it takes me. I feel a bit bloated, so maybe once my water recedes, I will have a better reflection of what I weigh.
In today’s Toastmaster meeting my assigned role will be Evaluator, which means I will evaluate one of the given speeches, the evaluation lasting 2-3 minutes. This is by far my least favorite role, but I need the practice.
Day 11 – Up one Pound
I took yesterday off, so back to work. After five days at a stubborn 268 pounds, I gain a pound to 269. Imagine my agony. Once the shock subsided, I slumped down in my chair and began balling like a 48 year old. Now I’ve got to compose myself and get ready for the day.
- Blood Pressure – 134/88
- Pulse rate – 61
- Weight – 269 pounds
